A grid of words was soon transformed into a vivid catastrophe through a strange medley of mindless evolution and a brief, shimmering hope: hope transcending into this world to bestow purpose and reason. Although likely to remain incomplete forever, one must realize that to be in Nijigen is to chase after the elusive shadows of faith and perfection.

Miniscule in conception, overnight the grid became gargantuan: millions of cells crafted into a magnificent whole, encapsulating the word patterns that remain the heart and soul of this world. Wondrous, but void of life; barren. A catalyst was desired, and it soon gushed forth from a point known as the portal, stimulating the grid with life and creativity in a shockingly short period of time. Another dimension appeared in Nijigen as the current transformed empty words into meadows, forests, mountains, and seas. The grid ceased as something far greater took hold, blossoming into the world of Nijigen.

Endlessly incited to grow and expand by its very nature, Nijigen soon housed many races, islands appeared from empty space, and history chased the future as well as the past. Existence here is tentative, but growth seems inevitable. In the complexity of such a world, there is only one thing any can rely on, but it has been omitted due to the risk of offending someone.

What is Nijigen? It is an MRPG Game Room; an Anime RPG World connected to the ACX MRPG system. In short, it is a MUD: a text-based role-playing game (RPG) where players from anywhere and everywhere are able to put aside reality and slay the dragon, build the city, and one day rule an empire --- if they are lucky.
